Position Purpose:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in counseling, education, or relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Five to seven years of medical school experience.
• Experience in medical education, advising medical students and managing student affairs in a medical school environment.
• Ability to effectively use counseling skills in a variety of situations.
• Skilled at organization and presentation of data using critical thinking skills to analyze and make recommendations based on data.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to compose, proofread and edit various communications and prepare and give presentation to students and faculty.
• Ability to maintain strictest standards regarding confidentiality of all student information.

Desired Qualifications:

• PhD, EdD, MD, DO or other terminal degree in counseling, education, or relevant field.
