The Vice President for Enrollment Management at Kingsborough Community College (KCC) is responsible for the college?s recruitment, admissions and enrollment planning, while collaboratively setting and meeting recruitment and enrollment targets, net tuition revenue goals and enhancing the College?s reputation and market position. The Vice President serves as a member of the President?s Senior Staff and manages a staff of approximately 75.
The Vice President reports to the President and leads the enrollment management unit to support the college?s mission and values, collaborating and working closely with college leadership, faculty, and staff to significantly increase enrollment, as well as to support strong retention, timely graduation and workforce outcomes for the college?s students and alumni. As the college?s chief enrollment officer, the vice president provides leadership, strategic direction, and coordination for a comprehensive enrollment strategy that is aggressive, results-oriented, forward-looking, and consistent with the goals, mission, and resources of Kingsborough.
As a central college priority, Enrollment Management enjoys significant support from the College's president and provost, as well as from key college leadership, faculty, current students, and alumni. The Vice President of Enrollment Management is expected to capitalize on this support with a data-driven and technology-supported approach to management and strategy, innovative and creative thinking about reaching prospective students and families, an inclusive leadership style, exceptional communication skills, and informed judgment.
The Vice President will provide entrepreneurial vision and leadership in the development and implementation of community college strategic enrollment goals and measurable objectives and strategies. The Vice President will oversee a rapidly changing student profile and lead an enrollment team that responds to enrollment challenges.
The Vice President oversees Admissions, Financial Aid, Testing, Admissions Information Center, New American Center, One Stop, and International Student Affairs. The Vice President will collaboratively establish strategic direction, priorities, and goals for each office within the division, making data-informed proposals and decisions, while seeking both standard and creative ways to achieve and maintain enrollment goals.
The Vice President for Enrollment Management will be a consummate professional who embraces a team environment and works with colleagues in a spirit of partnership, transparency, and fiscal responsibility. The Vice President must build and maintain excellent relationships across the college and with external constituencies, reaching out to and engaging all those in the extended Kingsborough community. Further, the Vice President will develop a strong enrollment staff that is optimistic, excited about change, responsive, innovative, analytical, collaborative, results-oriented, and student-centered. Specific duties include the following:
Strategically plan all enrollment, recruitment and student services activities with the College's academic and administrative departments and programs.
Work closely with Marketing and Communications to develop marketing materials for the College?s strategic enrollment management plan.
Promote a student-centered campus community environment that supports the personal, social, and academic development and success of all students.
Work collaboratively and effectively with Academic Affairs to support the transition from admitted to matriculated for students.
Serve as the executive resource to the College in all matters pertaining to enrollment with the University and other related constituencies.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position is in CUNY's Executive Compensation Plan. All executive positions require a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and eight years' related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Progressively responsible senior leadership roles in enrollment management.
Experience within large, diverse, urban institutions.
Experience with strategic and efficient budget management.
Experience with implementation of new technology systems and data platforms for enrollment management.
Experience with marketing and communications related to admissions and recruitment.
Demonstrated track record of team leadership and collaboration with diverse populations of students, staff and faculty.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications and skills to be an articulate spokesperson for a wide range of projects.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$175,000 - $190,000
