Purpose To advise students in the planning and execution of programs and events that stimulate the cultural, intellectual, and social life of the University, promote understanding and appreciation for people of diverse backgrounds and enhance student learning and development.   Responsibilities Advise students through the process of marketing, administration and logistics for programs and events including but not limited to contracting outside vendors, facilities and food service management and distribution of publications; meet weekly with student leaders to advise and monitor event progress. Oversee at least 4 student committees within the University Unions programming board (Campus Events + Entertainment).
