The Associate Director provides leadership and administrative oversight for the Student Government Association (SGA), overseeing policies, processes, and systems for administration of SGA activities and governance. This position creates a variety of trainings for students related to policies, risk management, student leadership development, with a particular emphasis on improving SGA's culture and climate, especially for non-majority student populations. This role advises and supports student leaders of SGA, and serves on the departmental leadership team, contributing to the department's strategic planning and assessment.
