Springdale Preparatory School seeks a Student Life Manager to join our talented team. The Student Activity Manager plans, implements, and fulfills student activities to meet the needs of the student body in relation to the school and community. This position also partners with the residential life team to coordinate and plan weekend activities, both on- and off- campus, for residential students, including scheduling, itinerary, transportation needs.

Qualified applicants should hold the following in education and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree
Prior experience managing, training, and leading groups of students
Experience with managing contracts with outside vendors/partners
Prior experience in working with 6-12 students
Commitment to using professional role to further the creation of an equitable and inclusive school community
Interest in making a positive impact on the lives of adolescents
Ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion, and good judgment
Empathetic and able to cultivate positive relationships with young people
Detail-oriented, with the capacity and flexibility to efficiently manage numerous small and large tasks
Exceptional verbal, written communication, and listening skills
A proven collaborator who can work with all internal and external members of the community
Preferred Education and Experience:
Prior experience working in a school setting, preferred
Athletic Coaching experience preferred
Events management experience preferred
Experience with managing contracts with outside vendors/partners
Proficiency working with BlackBaud or other computer software programs, preferred
This is a full-time, 12-months, exempt position. Campus housing is available.
