Manage the daily building operations and services for all Center for Campus Life (CCL) facilities; coordinate scheduling and resource training for Welcome Center, managing staffing for welcome desk and facilities services; facilitate maintenance of all conference and classroom technology; coordinate adherence to all safety and fire regulations; maintain a key-control/card access database; coordinate internal and external vending services; manage and authorize space use and reservations; liaison with campus partners to ensure appropriate facilities support.
Operationalize short and long term plans for CCL facilities in partnership with the CCL and Student Affairs staff working within these spaces. Assist the CCL senior leadership team with developing a vision, goals, and measurable objectives that are designed to strengthen RIT's programs, services, activities and events. Effectively utilize project management and facilities management software.
Supervise team of student employees and Graduate Assistant(s); responsible for recruitment, hiring, training, personnel administration, and evaluation of team, conducts regular one-on-one and team meetings to maintain department communication and foster staff development and success.

Minimum Qualifications Education/Experience:
MA/MS/MBA degree in education, public administration, business or a related field.
1-2 Years of experience in facilities and/or College Union Complex operations and coordination, including as part of a graduate assistantship/internship.
Skills:
Effective interpersonal, written, and electronic communications skills, including the ability to convey complex information in accessible terms to diverse or multicultural audiences.
Ability to establish, build and maintain effective working relationships based on respect, empathy and honesty with diverse groups and individuals.
Ability to manage and maintain confidential and private information; uses confidential, sensitive and/or private records and information, protects information appropriately.
Computer competence using software and enterprise systems appropriate for the complexities of the role and its functions.
Knowledge of Deaf culture, American Sign Language (ASL), or willingness to learn.
Ability to understand and follow legal policies, compliance expectations, and university guidelines and procedures.
Budget experience and acumen
Demonstrated knowledge of and/or experience working with student leaders and employees.
Demonstrated ability in designing, implementing, and evaluating programming related to the student experience.
Ability to take initiative and independently plan, organize, coordinate, and perform work in complex situations with competing priorities.
Ability to maintain attention to detail and task completion in a fast-paced, student focused environment.
