Responsibilities:
The Assistant Director is responsible for supervising a full-time Program Operations Specialist and student employees as needed. The Assistant Director collaborates with Student Affairs staff across the NU global campuses to replicate, improve and increase student engagement across the NU global campuses through the adaption of CSI policies, procedures and student organization management platforms. The Assistant Director creates and manages the CSI Advisor Outreach Program for student organization advisors including communication, appreciation, budgeting, and designing workshops. The Assistant Director will serve as the Program Manager for all student organizations that operate with a maximum annual budget of $10,000 and organize a maximum of 4 programs and events each year. The Assistant Director will consult with groups to help bring their ideas and vision relating to the group's strategic goals and mission to fruition. The Assistant Director will also support the administrative components of student organizations' programming with the use of the online Project Management tool, Monday.com. The Assistant Director will also serve as the primary Administrator of the Engage platform and serves as the point of contact to the Engage account manager. The Assistant Director will facilitate and manage the new student organization recognition process in conjunction with the Student Government Association (SGA), the Graduate Student Government and other campus partners. The Assistant Director will serve as the primary liaison to the Student Government Association's Student Involvement Board and the Graduate Student Government’s Vice President of Student Affairs.

Requirements
This position requires a bachelor's degree. Candidates should have a minimum 3-4 years of professional experience. Previous experience supervising full-time staff is highly preferred. Strong candidates will possess a demonstrated history of systematic and logical thinking with a focus on customer service. The Assistant Director is given key decision-making authority and thus must be comfortable with making autonomous decisions. The Assistant Director must be able to work independently on a fast-paced, global campus and possess a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion. The successful candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills and exceptional interpersonal, organizational, verbal/written communication skills as well as demonstrated skills and knowledge in social media platforms and strategies. As a member of the Division of Student Affairs, the Assistant Director will align their work with the established mission, vision, and literacies of the division.
