The University Memorial Center on the CU Boulder campus welcomes applicants for the Building Operations Manager! This position is responsible for providing managerial oversight to the University Memorial Center (UMC) Building Management, Building Security, Reception Desk and CU NightRide operations. The position will directly supervise the full-time UMC Safety and Security Coordinator and Admin Assistant II, as well as 8-10 Reception Desk part-time student employees, and indirectly supervise approximately 45 student employees in the Building Management and Security and CU NightRide Operations. 

 

The individual in this role will provide excellent customer service through responding appropriately and knowledgeably to questions and requests from students, faculty, staff and the hundreds of daily visitors to the UMC. Position assists students and guests with determining and locating the appropriate resources for a variety of needs. 

This position will have a strong focus on the guest experience in the UMC, including student experience and community engagement initiatives. Position provides support to events in the UMC as needed and serves as the liaison in the event planning process for the coordination of building management needs.
