The position
Under the direction of the Executive Director Citizenship and Global Education and CFO , the Senior manager of Camp and Students Activities is responsible for implementing and managing the school camp's program activities and extracurricular program activities. The position includes a mix of responsibilities including program design, implementation and evaluation, administrative duties, and community outreach. This position requires broad knowledge of camp and outdoor education activities, excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills along with flexibility and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an excellent rapport with all constituents.
Responsibilities:
TFS Camps and Rentals
-
Develop a business plan for TFS camps during November, Winter, March and summer breaks including a variety of age groups, timing, staffing, fees and marketing in conjunction with the Business Office

Ensure program continuity during times of construction or facility maintenance
-
Hire, train , evaluate camp counselors that meet TFS requirements.

Communicate with parents regarding camps and during camps.

Manage the day to day during camps:such as students safety and well-being; supervision of activities that meets TFS vision and mission;

Responsible for the management of budget and staffing related to camps

Responsible for developing a plan to rent out facilities as available
TFS Trips and Student Activities

Coordinate partnerships and external activities, including identifying destinations, obtaining necessary permits, organizing transportation, ensuring safety and communications protocols and equipment are provided, organizing group gear, collecting necessary medical/health information and waivers, planning and purchasing supplies for food, organizing groups and chaperones, and developing common expectations and guidelines

Internal activities and clubs in collaboration with the branch principals and VPs during the school year

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent

Five years of leadership work experience in the field of business development

3 years in budget/financial management and staff management experience

Proven experience in partnership building and business development

2 years experience in creating programs to generate revenue
-
Strong leadership, organizational skills, communication skills, excellent problem-solving skills including close attention to detail.

Bilingual in French and English
-
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse group of people, including students, parents, faculty and staff in a fast-paced school environment.

Superior skills in G-Suite or equivalent technology
