Provides educational and administrative leadership for co- and extra-curricular student initiatives and programs for the Office of Student Affairs. Design and execute leadership development programs for all Tandon students. Manages and supervises 2 Graduate Assistants. As an integral member of the NYU Tandon School of Engineerings Student Affairs team, the Assistant Director also supports the activities and initiatives of the Associate Dean of Student Affairs.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education: Master's Degree
Required Experience: 5+ years in student affairs or higher education
Preferred Experience: Preference given to those with prior experience working with and advising STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) students.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Demonstrated skills in leadership, program planning, communication, working with students and student organizations, and have a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge in leadership development education Experience in student engagement platforms, specifically Engage (Campus Labs/Anthology)
